We Are Here To Help

Surrender A Dog

Considering relinquishing your beloved dog is a difficult decision. Various circumstances can lead to this choice, and we’re here to offer support. We’re grateful you’ve reached out to us.

We understand that life changes, such as moving, the loss of a loved one, divorce, or personal health issues, can necessitate rehoming a pet. Rest assured, we don’t judge your situation; our goal is to assist you.

At Rocky Mountain Dachshund Rescue, we provide a caring foster home and ensure your dachshund receives proper vet care. When they’re ready, we carefully match them with their forever family. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

While we strive for a smooth transition, it may take some time due to factors like available fosters and the number of dogs in our care. We prioritize finding the right match between fosters and dogs, considering the needs of both parties.

Please understand that RMDR is run entirely by volunteers who have other commitments. We’ll reach out to you as soon as possible. When you receive a call or text from an unknown number, please respond promptly to initiate the surrender process.
