Rocky Mountain Dachshund Rescue Sweepstakes

1. Eligibility
The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Void where prohibited by law. Officers, directors, employees, and immediate family members of Rocky Mountain Dachshund Rescue (“Sponsor”) are not eligible to participate.

3. Sweepstakes Period
Entries will be accepted beginning on the official launch date and ending on March 28, 2026. All digital entries must be received prior to the drawing date with a deadline of March 28, 2026.

4. How to Enter
(a) Donation Entry

Eligible participants may enter the Sweepstakes by making a donation through the official Rocky Mountain Dachshund Rescue sweepstakes platform or other authorized channels. Each donation generates the specified number of entries as described at the point of donation.

(b) Free Method of Entry (No Purchase Necessary)

To enter without making a donation, hand-print the following on a 3”x5” postcard:

Mail the postcard in a stamped envelope to:

Free entries must be handwritten, postmarked no later than March 27, 2026, and received prior to the drawing. Limit one (1) free entry per person. Each valid free entry will be treated the same as a donation-based entry and assigned the average number of entries that donation-based participants receive.

5. Prize
There are two grand prizes. One winner will receive a handmade Dachshund Quilt. One winner will receive a Minky Couture crate pad (the “Prizes”). There will be several runner up prizes given out as well, at the discretion of RMDR. No cash or prize substitution is permitted except at Sponsor’s discretion. The Prize is non-transferable. Any and all prize-related expenses, including taxes, are the sole responsibility of the winner.

6. Odds of Winning
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received through both donation and free entry methods.

7. Winner Selection and Notification
The Prize drawing will take place on March 28, 2026. The winner will be selected in a random drawing. The winner will be announced on the official Rocky Mountain Dachshund Rescue Facebook page and at  rockymountaindachshundrescue.com. The winner will also be contacted via the phone number or email provided on their entry. If the winner cannot be reached within seven (7) days of the initial notification, an alternate winner may be selected.

8. Publicity Release
By entering, participants grant Rocky Mountain Dachshund Rescue permission to use their name, likeness, and entry for promotional purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

9. Limitation of Liability
By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Rocky Mountain Dachshund Rescue, its officers, directors, employees, and volunteers from any liability, claims, or damages arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance of the Prize. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, damaged, or incomplete entries.

10. General Conditions
Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes if fraud or technical failures compromise the integrity of the Sweepstakes. Any attempt to deliberately damage the Sweepstakes entry process or undermine its legitimate operation may be a violation of criminal and civil laws.

11. Privacy
Information submitted with an entry is subject to Sponsor’s privacy practices and will be used solely for Sweepstakes administration and communication with entrants.

12. Winner List
The winners’ name will be posted on the official Rocky Mountain Dachshund Rescue Facebook page and website after the drawing.
