Want to Help the Doxies?
If you are interested in helping the Rocky Mountain Dachshund Rescue we hope this list will help you find something that fits into your life and world so that you can help rescued dachshunds:
- Foster: Invite a rescued dachshund into your home, assist with vet visits and care until they are adopted
- Volunteer: Transport new dachshunds to their foster family, the vet, or from other areas. Pick up prescriptions, help at fundraisers, assisting with various assignments in the rescue, etc.
- Donations: Make a contribution of blankets, beds, food*, etc. Contact us
- Monetary Donations: These go to paying for vets, surgery, medicine, behavioral assistance. (Note: a small portion goes to the administration of the rescue. We are happy to share the details of where the donations go.)
