Bailey believes every sound is a threat and must swiftly be dealt with and is always walking around the house looking for food. He has such a sensitive, loving personality and when he feels safe he loves to be held and have his belly rubbed.
He does have skin issues (allergies). Uses a spiral bowl, snuffle mat and enrichment toys to eat which calm him down around food. No aggression, just very driven. His favorite thing to do is run around squeaking his small tennis ball looking for food.
Kona is a love bug who wants to sit with you being pet and snuggling at all times. He loves lounging in the sun and eating dead worms then would like to head back inside to sit with you in a chair. Kona also has allergies. He loves to be outside if it is still and warm, but if there is wind, rain, thunder, snow or dark he definitely needs his brother to be with him. Kona uses the pee pads to pee only. Bailey doesn’t seem to notice them. Actually pees next to them usually so–working on potty training both boys. In just a few weeks they have come a long way. Both Kona and Bailey take wonderful care of my 17 year old, blind dachshund, Cherry. They both thoroughly enjoy barking at the outside cat, raccoons and squirrels and college kids that pass by. Both Kona and Bailey walk well on leashes and know how to use the treadmill and doggy door.
