AVAILABLE TO ADOPT! — Meet our cute chiweenies (dachshund/chihuahua mix) Sammy and Charlie. They are seven years old in March! Sammy (tan color), the boy, was the runt of the litter and he’s tiny at only 8 pounds. Charlie (black and tan), the girl, is quite a bit bigger.
🤎 🖤 They were from the same litter and are brother and sister. Little Sammy would be lost without his sister so they need to be adopted together as a bonded pair. They love to be with their people, are good with kids and are okay with a cat (they currently live with a cat–they just ignore it). Sammy and Charlie are both snuggly dogs! Charlie was born first and is about 20 pounds, and she’s a barker so she would not be a good match for an apartment complex; Sammy is not much of a barker. Charlie is a jumper but Sammy doesn’t jump much.
They are both kennel trained and are potty trained and good overnight, but they do need to be taken out regularly. (They have been left to free roam for 5 to 6 hours and they’ve been fine, longer than that they may have accidents.)
