Meet Dallas! A male, 6 month old heeler/dachshund mix with the perfect personality! Dallas is shy when he first meets you but, warms up quickly and becomes friendly in no time. This puppy is sweet-natured, patient, and mischievous in a playful way. Dallas loves to play with toys, fetch balls and explore outdoors!
His curiosity is endless! Dallas understands how to sit on command, comes when you call his name and walks politely on a leash with a harness. He is sharp and catches on quickly but, will “test” you in his puppy way. Dallas is still very much a baby and will need more training, socialization and guidance. He is a very good eater and is treat motivated!
Dallas is working on learning “place”, “come” and “stay” on command using treats for positive reinforcement. He is adjusting to a new daily schedule consisting of a set mealtime, exercise and cuddle time… foster favorite! 🙂 He is crate trained and comfortable being left alone. He also does great during car rides!
We know that Dallas will make the perfect addition to a family with a fenced in back yard, who include him in activities, and have older kids, where he will only have about 2-3 hours of alone time.
