[ ADOPTED! ]

ADOPTED! Rosebud is a red, short-haired, 3-year-old doxie-pin (also called a pinshund), which is a dachshund and miniature pincher, hybrid. Little Rosebud stands a little taller than an tweenie dachshund and is good with men, women, and older kids/teenagers who will be able to treat her with respect. Doxie-pins are known for being loyal, devoted friends who need walks and playtime.
Rosebud gets along great with her dachshund foster sister, but she is not good around big dogs and sometimes not a fan of her foster (chi-weenie) brother, but She has been very affectionate with her foster family and loves to snuggle. She is curious, playful, and as her confidence has grown she seems to love using the dog door on her own, but she really likes it when you go outside with her.
She has had three litters in her three years, but Rocky Mountain Dachshund Rescue has caught her up on her vet visits, vaccinations and she was spayed. She is all healed up and ready to go to her forever family! She is a tender-heart and really blossoms with encouragement, love and inclusion.

Doxie-pins bring together two dogs who are great watchdogs–Rosebud does bark, usually after her doxie foster sister starts, and she settles back down long before her; she wants your approval and that helps. She loves to run, play and explore the yard, but most of all? She wants to be with her family, she wants your approval, she wants your unconditional love. Rosebud sleeps in a calming fuzzy bed beside her foster mom and dad and next to her foster sister. She is a very good girl and will be a gem-of-a-dog for her forever family.
