Bred as hunting dogs for burrowing prey they have a great sense of smell, digging paws and they love to burrow under blankets. Dachshunds are very good companions and often pick one person they are very attached to as well as their families. We’re glad you found our Utah based dachshund rescue! We hope you’ll reach out!
